METAL CASE AND SPRING
Metal cases are used for general applications in oil or grease and are made
of carbon steel. Besides this, it is also used in special applications such
as sealing sea water for corrosive fluids for gases. For such purposes, it
is of stainless steel construction. They are also available in other metal
case like aluminum case, brass case based on customers' specific
applications and requirements.

Normally, piano wire is used in garter
spring. Where corrosion resistance or extreme heat resistance is required on
the part of the garter spring, stainless steel is used.
HOUSING BORE
Our housing bores are recommended to be used in rubber covered and metal
O.D seals for steel and cast iron, soft alloy, aluminum alloy, plastic or
nylon.

BORE CHAMFER :
In order to assist installation of
the seal, a bore chamber is necessary. The absence or improper
installation of chamfer will distort seal case and would lead to more
assembly force craving. |
ROTARY SHAFT SEAL
We provide hundreds of different cross sectional shapes in rotary shaft
seals. In order to serve our clients better, we search the available shapes
and tooled sizes that suit well customers' requirements.
TEFLON SEALS AND ENGINEERED COMPONENTS
- MIM Plastics provides high volume, low cost Teflon and Teflon blend
components of consistent quality as well as short run and prototype
quantities. There are various production methods that are available with
us and are adopted based on the component geometry, quantity, and
material requirements. We have extensive experience in importing and
supplying Teflon compounds used as seals ( valve seals, lip seals , face
seals, shaft seal elements).
- We possess an ever-increasing range of Teflon blends that are used to
either machine or mold any shape components you may need.
